Access to information is the key need identified by the Ukrainian community

We are faced with a serious humanitarian crisis. The level of solidarity and humanitarian aid directed at the borders with Ukraine is heart warming. However, the next challenges are to support the Ukrainian community in Ireland by organising integration programs and to support the incoming refugees.

Ireland can expect to take in at least 68,000 people from Ukraine but that the number could hit 200,000, Government ministers have said. The community will require support in all aspects of their life, from receiving legal information about their rights and entitlements, to support with finding accommodation, access to education, and health.

Our aim is to address the key integration needs of arriving refugees in collaboration with the Ukrainian community living in Ireland
