How does the treatment at U-Clinic look like?

Psychotherapy is a process in which mental problems are solved through the communication process and establishing a relationship between the patient and a qualified therapist. The goal of psychotherapy is to help overcome life's difficulties and crises. U-Clinic offers help and a warm atmosphere to all our clients. Taking the therapy is an important step towards greater self-awareness and a more satisfying life.

Starting treatment

The start of treatment at U-Clinic is carried out in several stages. When you apply to U-Clinic for treatment, the first step is the initial assessment. During this session, together with the therapist, you are going to make a decision on whether the therapy at U-Clinic is the best therapy for you. Then, we will also discuss in general terms your reasons for applying for treatment as well as our offer of assistance. The initial assessment may be carried out by a different therapist than the therapist you will work with later. Please make sure that you come to the meeting on time (not too early or too late). Meetings last 50 minutes. If you arrive too early, it might happen that the previous therapy session has not yet finished and we are not able to open the door for you. We want to protect the privacy of all our clients.

Consultation fee

For the first three meetings, the treatment fee must be paid in advance before the meeting. Payment in advance is necessary and was introduced due to frequent visit cancellations. The payment must be credited to the account of the Together-Razem Centre min. 48 hours before the scheduled meeting, otherwise the consultation will not take place.

What will happen next after the initial assessment?

After the initial assessment you will be enrolled on the waiting list for regular, weekly therapeutic meetings. The treatment will start as soon as possible. A U-Clinic employee can provide information about the waiting period. Please contact us immediately if you change your e-mail address, phone number, etc., or if you resign from the treatment.

Therapeutic sessions

Our goal is that you attend therapeutic sessions regularly on the same day of the week, at the same time, agreed with the therapist. The therapeutic session lasts 50 minutes, it starts and ends at the same times agreed on in advance, unless the therapist agrees to other arrangements. If you cannot arrive on the date of the appointment, please contact the therapist or the U-Clinic office immediately, at least 48 hours in advance. If we receive a notification about the inability to attend the treatment less than 48 hours in advance or if you miss one of the meetings, it may cause problems in the proper functioning of the Clinic as well as interfere with the therapist's work. In that case, you will have to cover the costs of the session that did not take place.
