Ireland has become an increasingly diverse society with different nationalities shaping its population. Polish people are the largest population of non-Irish nationals in Ireland. According to the 2016 Census the number of Polish nationals living in Ireland reached nearly 122,000.
There are estimated 30,000 Poles living in Cork City and County, amounting to a quarter of the total Polish population living in Ireland. Over the past 13 years Together-Razem has been the primary voice for the Polish community in Cork.
Together-Razem provides a range of social, civic, psychological and counselling services to the Polish community in Cork and has quietly gone about its business working with people in need of their assistance and services. Its brief is wide ranging and its services are in high demand across the city and county.
Together-Razem is a registered charity and wholly dependent on charitable funding.
The Polish Embassy in Ireland recognizes and fully supports Together-Razem’s activity.

Together-Razem’s four core objectives are:
Ensure Mental Wellbeing through U-Clinic Counselling Services, Active Seniors Group, Drama Group, Workshops for Women
Offer Education: Togeher-Razem’s aim is to educate adults on their rights and improve their language skills, as well as to support children in adapting to their new culture and environment.Together-Razem provides Social Advice Services, English Courses for adults, Razem Academy – school for Polish children in various locations: Cork, Midleton, Cobh, Ballincollig, Clonakilty, active citizenship programmes and information seminars.
Provide Advice and Advocacy: Together-Razem take action to help people secure their rights, represent their interests and obtain services they need through Legal Clinics, Social Advice & Information Clinic, Advice online- Poradniaonline.org
Encouraging Integration: by organising integration events throughout the year for the Polish & Irish families such as: PolskeEire Festival, Meet your neighbour, National Spring Clean, Cork Women’s Mini Marathon, Bloody Foreigners action, Family events
