Together-Razem w festiwalu Lifelong Learning

Zapraszamy wszystkich chętnych do udziału w Lifelong Learning Festival.
W tym roku 480 różnych zajęć i przedsięwzięć. Również i nasza grupa seniorów "Kawa czy herbata" przygotowała jeden z punktów programu. 23 marca od 14.30 - 16.30 w Centrum Together – Razem będzie można się dowiedzieć wielu ciekawych informacji na temat Polski, miejsc do zwiedzenia, nie tylko tych komercyjnych ale również urokliwych i mniej znanych dla turystów. Odbędą się 2 spotkania, pierwsze o godz. 14:30, drugie o 15:15. Maksymalnie do 15 uczestników w grupie.
W programie również prezentacja piosenek po polsku oraz próba nauczenia jednej z nich. Nie zabraknie również Wielkanocnego akcentu i przygotowań tradycyjnej kurpiowskiej palmy wielkanocnej. Wymagana rezerwacja miejsc pod nr tel. 021 496 7743 lub e - mail 
Festiwal potrwa od 18 do 24 marca. Zapraszamy do wzięcia udziału. Na pewno, każdy znajdzie w ofercie coś odpowiedniego do wieku i zainteresowań.
Cork’s Lifelong Learning Festival promotes and celebrates learning of all kinds, across all ages, interests and abilities. The festival’s motto is Investigate, Participate, Celebrate, and the public can do that by watching demonstrations, trying out skills, and seeing others, from the young to the old, show off what they are learning.
On Saturday March 23rd Together-Razem will be at Together-Razem Centre premises from 2.30pm to 4.30pm giving the Cork public the opportunity to learn a little about Poland and the Polish language and culture.
The seniors group “Coffee or Tea” will be presenting a map of Poland, showing interesting places and tourist destinations. The group will be:
Showing their favourite (And often not well known) spots in Poland
Giving advice on visiting Poland
Teaching some useful Polish phrases
Presenting some Polish Easter traditions

Our new location and services
At Together-Razem we are changing and constantly developing and enhancing our services. Going from strength to strength, we are very excited to inform you that Together-Razem Centre has recently moved to a new location.

English classes Autumn 2017 - enroll now

New English Language courses at Together-Razem Centre start in the middle of September. Our courses are recommended by various local organizations focused on social inclusion and also by the Department of Social Protection. We offer classes for all levels of proficiency - from beginners to advanced. Our highly qualified and experienced teachers guarantee a high standard of lessons which are focused greatly on development of practical use of the language and are conducted in small groups (max 13 students). Additionally, for those who want to improve their fluency in spoken language, we offer conversations with a native speaker. On a successful completion of the course and after passing a final exam each participant receives a certificate. We can also provide documentary evidence to Social Welfare Office to certify participation in the language course. The cost of a 10 week course is only €99. At the moment we have places available  on Monday at 5.30-7.00pm, Tuesday at 10-11.30am  and  on Thursday at 6.00-7.30pm. More levels and groups are subject to the number of students interested in participation. Please check you English level first HERE

PolskaEire Festival launch in Cork
The 2017 PolskaEire Festival in Cork has been successfully launched at Heron House, at the Blackpool Shopping Center & Retail Park. Lord Mayor Cllr. Des Cahill was on the site to officially launch the festival. Other speakers were: David Stanton TD, Minister of State for Justice with special responsibility for Equality, Immigration, and Integration, and Piotr Rakowski - First Advisor, Head of Political and Economic Section; Political and European integration, Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Dublin. Great musical performance by Natalia Bakula (violin). At the opening we saw a specially prepared photo exhibition by Krzysztof Rosa - "Love doesn’t ask for a passport". Seamus Kirkpatrick from UCC delivered speech about love in Art.
The Craic was dobry again in Cork! Big thank you to Blackpool Shopping Centre & Retail Park for hosting the event!
